Transformations

Rather than a realistic or scientific portrayal of nature, these works are based on my own imaginary visions of the changes that are constantly taking place all around and within us. The dynamic processes that connect everything in the universe produce the rotating cycles of nature that we're all familiar with. Spring, summer, fall, winter; seed, germination, growth, death; gestation, birth, growth, death. In this way, all of nature exists in a constant state of becoming, as unseen energies break down matter and re-form it in new ways. This is reflected in imagery that overlaps and interconnects, as forms seem to take shape differently when seen from different perspectives.
